Who are you? Hello, my name is Richard and I go by Rich. I’ve been a licensed massage therapist since 2009. I’m fluent in both English and Spanish.
Why did you become a massage therapist? I became a massage therapist to help people heal and feel better overall—physically and mentally. I believe communication is the key to success, and I work with each client to provide an effective and efficient massage that relieves tension, stress, and pain while supporting general wellness for the mind and body.
Where and when did you go to school? I went to Everest College from 2007–2008 (when it still existed).
What modalities do you specialize in? I specialize in Deep Tissue, Prenatal, and Sports Massage. I also enjoy offering therapeutic massages such as Swedish and Trigger Point Therapy.
List any dysfunctions and acute/chronic conditions you have treated or particularly specialize in: I’ve helped many people with overall stress from their daily lives, including those with limited range of motion due to certain conditions. I’ve also helped mothers feel much better during pregnancy.
Why is massage important to you? Massage is important to me because it helps people heal their mind and body so they can live a healthier life. I’m here for you—any questions, please ask.
How would you describe your style of massage? My style is therapeutic and effective. I focus on the specific areas clients want addressed and use clear communication so we can work together toward the best results.
What keeps you motivated? Helping people feel better is rewarding and keeps me motivated to continue helping others (and myself). I truly enjoy what I do.
