Brianna - Licensed Massage Therapist
Who are you?
My name is Brianna, you can call me Bri. I grew up in Baltimore, Maryland and have lived in NOVA on and off for the past 9 years. I am a helper, peace-maker, and problem solver by nature. I approach the world with a curious, open, compassionate, and sincere mind- with a sunny disposition. I love learning as I believe there is never enough to learn. Some of my favorite things (other than massage) include - yoga, big belly laughs, music, the stars and mood, and so much more.
Why did you become a Massage Therapist?
Connection with and helping others has always been a calling. There are several health care professionals in my family, from which i acquired much knowledge of the field growing up. I decided to take an intro to Massage therapy class as an elective in college, and there was no turning back. Massage as a professional career has allowed me to give back, helping promote the power of positive, safe, healing touch, using my innate talents while continually being able to learn.

Why is Massage important to you?
Therapeutic massage is extremely effective in so many ways. Everyone deserves to live life as pain free as possible, and with ease. It is my honor to aid in the process of an overall sense of well being and healthy living for my clients through Therapeutic Massage.
How do you describe your style of Massage?
As every ‘body’ is unique and different, so too is every massage session. Every session is completely tailored to the individual client, client health history, and goals. My approach is holistic and integrative, combining several modalities appropriate for client comfort and safety, aiding clients to connect to what is happening in the body. Assessing and addressing postural alignment is my main focus as a Massage Therapist. Focusing on specific problem areas, or full body, my goal is to encourage mind and body connect, awareness, healthy energy flow, healing, confidence, empowerment, and freedom in the movement of form with ease. As the muscular system aligns and heals, so does one's overall sense of well being and wholeness. It is my duty to ensure that each client is comfortable and relaxed before, during, and after every session (this includes deep tissue clients) for optimal results. Communication is key. I provide suggestions for at home preventative care and give feedback on what was worked on, released, and discuss future session goals.
What keeps you motivated?
My clients! The progress I have seen in clients through therapeutic massage is extraordinary. Being a part of a client’s health and positive progress, helping people feel their best, and the challenge of mapping out muscle dysfunction, is a big motivator for me as well.
